back so soon?
Well we sold our pop up tent trailer today.. now we just have to find the keys. Seriously! We've had the camper for 3 1/2 years and this week, since we've been back from camping, we've lost the keys. Why? Alex wondered out loud if this meant we weren't supposed to sell it. He also suggested we pray about it. It still surprises me when he says things like that because I felt like he'd never get to that place and now he is probably more dedicated than me. God is amazing!
Man, I have blogger ADD.. on an entirely different note: although I don't like Phoenix we have an amazing small group. I love these people. We're getting together on Father's Day with them because they're our family here. If we didn't have them I would not live here for another minute. I don't know how many more summers I can take. I get really grumpy when it gets to be above 105 degrees and you don't even have to move and you're sweating. When the air conditioner in the car doesn't even seem to help.. you know it's hot. UGH! I think all the other people in Phoenix are also grumpy because, generally speaking, people aren't friendly here at all. It's so sad. I just keep smiling.. but sometimes I feel really angry that people are so selfish and rude here. So, yeah, apparently I had that on my mind. Ahh.. blogging about random things. :)
In other news: I can't wait to come to Washington! We'll be leaving here on Monday, July 15th and, with a few stops to see friends along the way, we'll arrive Wednesday night sometime. We'll be there for 3 weeks. So, if you Washington people read this: I want to do so much! I want to have girl nights, hang out with all of the mommies and kids at a park (during the summer here we meet at the park at 7AM for an hour before it gets too hot, no joke) Starbucks, shopping, everything! I also really want to do a couple of free "classes". I'm thinking I need to keep in shape while I'm not teaching for three weeks, that's 33 classes I won't be teaching and I have to eat. So, what do you say? I can do kid friendly clasess at a park or whatever... yes???
Here is a funny picture of Emmy sleeping. I don't know how she can sleep in this position but she does it! Notice the circle of toys she "needs" in her bed to sleep. Look at one of my previous posts for another funny sleep position. This girl is flexible!
