What we've been up to recently

These are some pictures of Emmy and Tim feeding the homeless this summer. Alex and I both had the chance to go a few times last summer and this summer we wanted to get the kids involved as well. They embraced this idea and were so amazing! I was so excited to see them really showing God's love to these people who have nothing. The thing we all learned again and again while down here is that these people don't have food, shelter, clean clothes, or any of the things we think we "need". They do, however, have an amazing FAITH!

Tim handing out water from the back of the truck. In the background you can see a man who we found lying face down on the sidewalk. It was at least 104 degrees at that point. He was ill, and had a serious case of heat exhaustion. It was something I hope I, or the kids, will never forget.


Lastly, here is a picture of our silly son with his cub scout troop at our house. It was a loud night with 8 First grade boys! Yowza!
